A former electrician and father of two was forced to give up work following a stroke leaving him paralysed down one side.

His plight came to the attention of the popular BBC television show DIY SOS which is fronted by Nick Knowles.

DIY SOSLocal Staffordshire firms which include MoreSpace, travelled to Warrington to take part in the programme where they embark on a mission to build an extension.

The single storey timber clad extension is to include a bedroom and wet-room with room for a hoist.

MoreSpace was part of the team who donated labour, materials and expertise free of charge to help make life a little easier for this deserving family.
